About me

Whoa, that’s me!

Born in 1995, I’ve always loved in-game level editors, even as a kid, and eventually started making rom hacks and my own game projects using existing tools. This was all a mere hobby before I applied for Kajaani University of Applied Sciences’ game development and game design studies in 2015.

During my studies, I worked on multiple teams and game projects and published quite a few games. This provided me with crucial knowledge and experience about professional game development and helped steer me towards the kind of career I truly enjoy.

In 2017 we founded Biting Mascot, a six-person game development company focused on colorful, intuitive games as well as gamification projects. I worked at Biting Mascot as a lead designer for slightly over a year and then we all decided we want to see what other opportunities there are out there. I graduated in 2018 and I landed a job as a level designer at Housemarque in 2019.

While I have worked as a general jack-of-all-trades designer in most of my projects, I’ve always found level design extremely interesting, particularly player guidance and creative mixing of mechanics to craft diverse challenges.

I’ll miss you, Biting Mascot!
