Farmiralli (2018)

Biting Mascot’s Farmiralli is a finnish educational game about the dangers of a farmyard, made with Unity. It was developed as subcontract work for The Farmers’ Social Insurance Institution of Finland and released on Google Play in 2018.

I was the lead designer in this project as well. This time I had to focus on designing everything for children specifically between ages 5 to 12. Additionally, I had to design everything around the game’s educational aspect without sacrificing fun or gameplay quality. This was very different from what I had done up to this point and I learned a lot about intuitive game design.

I did a lot of C# programming in this project. I programmed 3 of Farmiralli’s mini-games myself as well as the ranking system. I also got to do a lot of UI programming in Unity for the first time.

I even got to do some level design. I designed the main farmyard and all of the levels in the watermelon mini-game.
